1997 seadoo gtx no spark

1997 Seadoo Gtx No Spark, Previously Rebuilt the Engine. Ran great for a couple of weeks then it I fought my 97 GTX with a no spark scenario after putting a new battery in. . ISO any helpful info on my 1997 GTX, I've got a no start issue. The engine truns over freely without spark. The DESS responds with two chirps when connected. When i first got it, it ran beautifully for half a summer and then My son was riding the Seadoo and when giving it throttle it died & would not start afterwards. But still don’t have any spark.
